Google buys Snapseed

Awarded by Apple as app of 2011 and repeatedly selected as one of the best applications for iOS, Snapseed is undoubtedly one of the most comprehensive of the options available to the App Store in photo editing. Now, Google has announced that buys Snapseed in an amount yet to be determined. The goal certainly seems quite clear, pointing directly to Facebook and bombing Instagram buying dollars per billion .And is that everyone seems to enchant the filters and share the photos here and there with a retro air, a trend that has led to Instagram to be one of the most successful social networks for the past two years.

With Snapseed worth a couple of things though, first is much more focused on the ecosystem as Apple is only available for iPhone, iPad and OS X, secondly we must recognize the merit of being much more complete and deliver more advanced features that only apply a filter automatically improve a photo or put a frame.
So therefore the purchase of Google can bring two consequences, Snapseed the disappearance of the App Store and the Mac App Store and diversification across more platforms such as Android or Windows Phone.
Why Google may want an application like Snapseed? In the same way that Facebook plans to integrate (although we have not yet seen) Instagram with Facebook, in Mountain View want to do the same with Snapseed and Google+.
The main drawback, or rather the two main drawbacks is that neither reaches Snapseed Instagram levels of popularity, not even 1% of what the latter is, or Google+, however much they strive not Google share reaches use of Facebook, with two cutting tools rather minor. I did grieve me to see is how Snapseed disappearsjoining the shopping list of Google who recently starred in Sparrow mail client .
